Slow service, staff young, stood by til on their mobile phones, laughing, hanging out rather than working. Felt ignored. Long wait to be served once initially seated. Such a shame. Food was nice. Just wish management would sort staff out. It's been like this on many occasion.

No disabled toilets , very disappointed. Wheel chair access to the male toilet's isn't great, and my dad was unable to take his wheel chair into the cubicle. The wife said the ladies are the same. Please check if you want to visit that it nay of changed. You don't want to be caught short.

Staying next door for Christmas and went here for Christmas eve. Food was delicious and hot, I had the festive chicken burger, and had it with home made chips instead of fries. The service quick and staff friendly.
Will be visiting again in the new year.

I went to the pub and did not use it as a hotel so I can't comment on the rooms. The staff was very helpful and polite. The food was very good, they also have a very good vegetarian menu, and the atmosphere was lovely

Very helpful friendly staff, accommodated our group of 6 and doggie walk in, on a busy run up to Christmas weekend. The food was excellent, good sized portions. Definitely worth a visit.

We called in today for an end of holiday Sunday lunch. We where informed that was just one table left if we didnt mind eating in the bar area. Staff where friendly and helpfull and the food was ordered and served quite quickly as the majority of the booked tables where still empty. My wife ordered a turkey roast which was fine. However my steak pievwas well below acceptable. I can only assume that I had been served with a slice of re-heated pie from the previous day as the pastry was rock hard as was most of the meat. I did manage to find some meat from the centre of the pie that was very tender and tasty. There was also a majour problem with the over use of salt. There was a large amount of salf flakes on the potato wedges and aroundvthe edge of the plate. I eventually, gave up on the meal and left a large proportion. I reported this as we paid and the member of staff said he would pass my comments on to the chef. He told me that the wedges where always prepaired with a covering of salt flakes. Not a good experience compared to a number of meals we have had in local pubs.

Went for lunch with some girlfriends yesterday and have to say the sea bass was the best I’ve ever had. Beautifully presented with amazing vegetables will be back ! Pls keep this on the menu!!

We arrived unannounced for a table of 9 and they fitted us in at the last minute. Great food, good service and beautiful place to say farewell to my late father who always stayed at the Bronte on his visits back to Yorkshire

visited today for girlie lunch. absolutely excellent, food amazing and staff friendly and obliging. perfect location in the heart of our wonderful bronte country......will definitely be back soon . spotlessly clean and comfortable. we had a good giggle and delicious wine and food at a reasonable price near to home.

Called in today with family, food was mediocre at best. The wait for the food was longer than we expected. The fish on the fish and chips had an unusually strong fishy smell but tasted so so. The nachos starter was awful, the sour cream was pungent. The Bronte beefburger was tasteless and contained a big lump of hard gristle that made my son gag. When I pointed this out, the response was "well it wasn't a foreign object" no apology, no offer of any sort of refund. Waste of 70 notes

Our go to restaurant..took some friends last night, did book a table the day before. ....was very busy, but that didn't detract from the service. Very attentive and pleasant. As always the food was delicious. Compliments to the Chef and kitchen staff. Will keep recommending and will be back.

We went to the Bronte last night for an 18th celebration, we booked 2 weeks ago for 7 people , when we got there they said we booked for 2 , so we had to wait a while for a table , our 17 year old granddaughter wanted a small glass of wine with her meal , they refused , okay that’s their policy , !lots of meals were not available so we struggled finding something we liked , my son in law has just had a stomach op so is on a soft food diet , he asked for soup , no sorry , so he asked for mash and gravy “ no sorry you have to buy a full meal “ we then waited over an hour for our food , the staff were not at all accommodating or friendly . The food was not that great either . Sorry we won’t be going back !

Was ill advised by Waiter to go from Sirloin steak to Blade steak which was a HUGE, HUGE disappointment it came on anaemic looking stringy chips and a bunch of greenery full stop £19.95 RIP off oh pepper sauce.
Where as the Sirloin had tomato, mushrooms,onion rings & proper chips

Good choice of food, clean, pleasant environment with outdoor tables. Childrens area outside would have been a good addition.
